Mid-Century Mayhem

I was headed to a garage sale and got sidetracked along the way. SO glad I did because an original A.D. Stenger house, built in the 50s, was having an estate sale. Boy, did I find some loot! Today's catches include: a portrait of the man of the house (who looked remarkably like Jimmy Carter!), a few, gloriously bright, unchipped pieces of enamelware (including a fab fondue set - I can just see it bubbling in front of the fire at the ski lodge), a cake tin that is EXACTLY like the one I grew up with, minus the big rusty dent, a set of 10 seriously funky silver studded and iridescent glasses, a complete coffee service, and a bronze leafed laurel motif mirror.

Wow!
